Youth Mental Health First Aid Infographic
Infographic published by Mental Health First Aid to support teachers, school staff, coaches, camp counselors, parents, youth group leaders, and adults who work with youth. to recognize, support, and respond to youth mental health and substance use challenges among ages 12-18. This infographic provides ways to learn how to respond with the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE: Assess for risk of suicide or harm; Listen nonjudgmentally; Give reassurance and information; Encourage appropriate professional response; Encourage self-help and other support strategies.
