Description and data for the Shatterproof Addiction Stigma Index, that measures levels of stigma. Designed to establish a baseline measure of addiction stigma and attitudes from the public about substance use. Also measures the perceptions of those with an SUD, including the degree to which they have internalized societal exclusion. Utilizes more than 50 validated stigma measures. These were issued to a representative sample of 7889 U.S. residents.
