This report from Pew Charitable Trust highlights the barriers to available of MOUD. This report makes several policy recommendations to ensure that comprehensive OUD care at OTPs reaches populations in need and is integrated into systems delivering other health care services, such as primary care, state and federal policymakers can take the following steps. A few of these recommendations include: expanding take-home dosing and treatment in new settings, improve OTP access for patients with Medicare or Medicaid, improve OTP integration into broader initiatives to reform health care delivery.
